Cgi scripting

well most of the shopping carts are done in cgi and it can also be done in php.. So which one will be more secured and can be made with more features

well I cant pretend to be an expert on these things, but I did read somewhere that CGI was less secure. Anyway, mostly it depends on the quality of code you are using, products with a large userbase and active development community will always be best.

well thanks hammerhead but i am still bit confused about security with database and cgi Smile

i need to do some shopping cart work for my new safe online shopping site Smile

hi,
i would have thought the php was more secure as i hae heared most site using it use php and not cgi.
