Power Schemes

Power Schemes
This tweak sets the power scheme that will be used for either individual users or system wide for all users.
Individual User Settings
[Start] [Run] [Regedit]

Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg
Modify/Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.

Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value] // Value Name: CurrentPowerPolicy
Value Data: [Select from the following choices]

0 = Home/Office Desk
1 = Portable/Laptop
2 = Presentation
3 = Always On
4 = Minimal Power Management

5 = Max Battery
For a description of each scheme, look under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\PowerPolicies in folders 0-5
Exit Registry and Reboot
[color=#444444] In the last few days I've received a number of e-mails stating that the System Settings portion of this tweak does not work. I'm currently running some tests based on this feedback as it may very well be true. Reader feedback is the most valuable asset TEG has, so if you have any experience with this particular issue I'd appreciate hearing from you. If the issue can't be resolved I'll pull this portion of the tweak from the page. My apologies if this has caused anyone any inconvenience. [/color]
