Running ASP in Linux Servers

Running ASP in Linux Servers

In some forum i have seen that by installed some application in Linux Servers we can use ASP scripts in Linux Servers

Can anyone please tell me what are the free applications i can use for that purpose because the application which i know costs lot

well you can try chilli Asp to run asp applications in Linux Hosting but it really makes the server slow Smile

Agreed, it does make a Linux server slow. ChilliSoft also does not handle all the functions of ASP that a Windows server does. The price is about $495 per server and more information can be found at http://wwws.sun.com/software/chilisoft/index.html

Yes, it may be better to just get a server and load it with Windows 2003 web server edition (cheaper than the standard or enterprise versions) and not have to worry about adding ChilliSoft

hehe yeah thats kool but some times it doesnt works out i beleive because its bit costly and applications for windows application is costly too Smile

is there any cheaper alternatives out there? Is LINUX even trying to develop a package that they will release with distros to support ASP?
