Does vector diminish graphical quality?

As the owner of several logo and web design design sites including http://www.weboncredit.com http://www.123logodesigners.com http://www.logotank.com http;//www.1stdreamdesign.com I have made a determined affort to stay away from vector design when creating logos for clients. I know that there is a major plus in the fact that vector scales without pixelation problems but the thing I realy object to is the fact that designing in vector is so damned restricting. As an artist I want the freedom to express myself and go where I want and for me vector simply doesnt cut it. Pixel based design like Photoshop realy is very extensively capable and far more varied in ability to render textures and objects that are far more pleasing to the eye and that have a definite real graphical quality about them. The amount of times a client has said to me "you know I saw lots of design sites before yours and they all looked the same to me" I then go on to explain to them that this is because they have been looking at vector designs from site to site. One client even asked me if the same guy owned all those sites he visited! The truth is that if you get the sizes of the files required for final printing by the client then graphics can be rendered in Photoshop everytime and it is a far far more rewarding experience! Take a look at my portfolios to see that what I tell you is indeed very true! Pixel based design kicks vectors ass any day of the design week!
